Our beautiful sunset

Our last night in Ibiza we decided to go to Cafe del Mar, a hot spot in Ibiza and recommended by my friend Michael Anthony.

At Cafe del Mar, we experienced the most emotional [yes, we’re sissies] sunset ever. We got lucky and were able to sit on a table right at the edge of the pier with nothing but rocks, water, and a beautiful sunset. We ordered a jarra of sangria, and relaxed! We had the opportunity to finally sit and reflect about our trip … in the background, we were listening to Cafe del Mar’s resident deejay Valentin Huedo’s mix of latin house lounge beats [one of my favorite genres].

Half-way into our sangria, Valentin played Mozart’s Summer Overture as the sun started to set. The entire space got quite and for the next ten minutes nothing and everything went through my head. Lucky to have the most wonderful woman next to me while looking at one of the most beautiful views and listening to a masterpiece. As the sun set, the hundreds of people surrounding us started to clap and a tear fell on my cheek … purely mesmerizing.
