I-House in Barcelona

One of the beauties of living at I House is that you get to visit friends around the world. In Barcelona we got to hang out with Amalia, Giorgos, Mario and Swapnil [all I-House alumns]. The funny thing is that even though Swapnil and I lived at the I House in the same year, we never got to really hang out back then. However, happy gal and I were fortunate enough to get to stay with him for a whole week and our relationship Swapnil grew. We got to know each other better over San Miguel beers having long conversations until 3 am. The sheer nature of I-House relationship allowed us to open up and be vulnerable with each other and share great stories. happy gal and I were really touched by his invitation to his wedding and excited to be going to his wedding in December in Goa!

In addition to hanging out with Swapnil, we were lucky to hang out with Mario, Giorgos and Amalia a few times and got to learn about our friends’ life in Barcelona. At one point, we were all having great paella and just like a typical I-House dinner we had a Greek, Persian, Guatemalan, Catalan, Mexican, and Indian sitting in a table!

It’s great to relive memories but even better to create new ones!
